Get investing tips for beginners from 6-8 p.m. in Room C102 on the third Thursday of each month. Michael Wiegand, a certified public accountant, will guide participants through a new topic each month. Cost is $10 for each session. Topics include:

THE ACCIDENTALS CONCERT IN GALVA
Head up Highway 34 to Galva and enjoy a concert featuring The Accidentals outdoors in Wiley Park on Sept. 10. Meet at Sandburg at 6 p.m. and ride a shuttle to the show. John Taylor, president of the Levitt AMP Galva Music Series, will guide the Sandburg group. Cost of the trip is $10 for the bus ticket and a suggested donation for the concert.
An independent band from Traverse City, Mich., The Accidentals feature a blend of genres, including indie folk, pop, bluegrass, rock and classic music. The band also hosts workshops throughout the country in an effort to inspire other young musicians.
